Yom Teruah This is the “Shout”

* Moses did all as יהוה had commanded him. [1]                                                                                                                                                            *Thus, Noah did; according to all that God commanded him. [2]                                                                                                                                   * “Yet will I and my sons and my brethren walk in the covenant of our fathers. God forbid that we should forsake the law and the ordinances”.[3]

Deu 31:3 יהוה your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them.

Deu 31:8 And יהוה, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

May we NEVER forget that! IT IS YAH WHO GOES BEFORE US, in everything we do, in everything we undertake. As YAH did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites and their land, so He will do to our enemies we face today.

Deu 31:16  And יהוה said to Moses: “Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.

Deu 31:17  Then My anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured. And many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, ‘Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?’

How did this news effect his heart, or was it something he had seen for the past forty years and was not surprised by it at all.?

Deu 31:18  And I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods.

Where do we stand today? I look at all the things YAH calls “sin” or an “abomination” to Him and for the most part the world, the nations have embraced them with open arms in the name of “diversity”.

Every religion has added to and subtracted from the word of YAH to suit their own agendas.

So, when the troubles come upon not only Israel but the whole world, what do expect? Do we not justly deserve the slap in the face we are receiving?

Deu 31:20 When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant.

YAH kept and still does keep His promises, it is us who have grown fat and turned to other gods.

Deu 31:29 For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil will befall you in the latter days, because you will do evil in the sight of יהוה, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.”

And so, where we are today. Many calamities have befallen us, yet we still do not repent and return to the ways of YAH. As we come up on the one-year point from the Oct7 massacre, where are our heart today? With threats from Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran of total annihilation, who do we put our trust in, who’s name do we call on for deliverance?

Do not get me wrong, the IDF does a wonderful job but it is יהוה, He is the One who goes before you. Where is the public praise for YAH!

Mic 7:18 Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

Even though we deserve whatever YAH dishes out to us for our disobedience, He still does not give us what we truly deserve. He remembers that we are just dust. Sin must be delt with and He will punish the sin, yet will forgive the sinner.

Sin can not go unchecked and there is a price to pay for or disobedience. If you are of the belief that you have obtained a “Get Out of Jail” free card and you live your life in that light, you might want to reconsider your theology or the why you live. It is better to live a life that is founded on “The Fear of YAH” then one day you experience “weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Joel 2:12 “Now, therefore,” says יהוה, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

Joel 2:13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to יהוה your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.

Joe 2:20 “But I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, with his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.”

Joe 2:27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am יהוה your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.
